Seafood restaurant, Crab house
For Valentine's day we came and ordered 3 pounds of crab with potatoes and sausage. As always the best service was provided by the Girl server. She went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time.We tried the Peach sake it was delicious. Can't wait to come back.! â¤ď¸

Whatever's in the Crackin Sauce needs to be bottled and sold! We've only been to one other place in town that does a similar "seafood boil in a bag" and one of the key differences was the quality and the flavor of the seafood; the crab was juicy, easy to bust open, the scallops were juicy, and a majority of all the mussels were expanded and drenched in the medium heat Crackin Sauce. We also got some corn, sausage, and potatoes with our $62 combo. We could have used a tray or a bigger table to dump the contents of our bag into, but it didn't deter from the experience. We started with some calamari that was lightly breaded, crisp, succulent, and served with both a cocktail sauce and house made marinara. The only knock I give this place is in regards to the atmosphere; the chair could really use some TLC, or even replacement. The booths are fat-friendly since they move a bit, but the tables don't. There seemed to be one server for the entire restaurant (seems like this short staff issue is not unique) but nonetheless we were tended to about every five minutes. Great spot for some authentic amped up seafood boil flavors in Rio Rancho.

Apparently this location isnât in anyway connected to the 2 other Albuquerque locations since they couldnât be managed more differently. Both experiences have been negative and Iâll be going out of my way to drive to the Jefferson location to avoid this spot.Dined in, took 20 minutes to get water, flies were taking over the restaurant, snow crab was mushy and over cooked.Tried it again with a to-go order, this location doesnât âallowâ you to purchase sides of sauce to take home, they rather miss out on some money then risk you not eating their seafood.Iâve done this over a dozen times at both Jefferson and Louisiana.Iâll purchase my fly free sauce elsewhere.
