It had been quite a few years since I had been to Cisco’s, but it was just as wonderful as I remembered.I love the friendly welcome when we walk in, with the invitation to sit where we’d like in any of the three rooms. Thanks for the complimentary chips and salsa, much appreciated! The lunch special of crispy beef tacos with rice and beans was yummy, but my heart got really happy with that first bite of migas.Just as amazing as ever, and among my top few comfort foods in the world! We splurged on a basket of 4 biscuits and loved them too.Hint: pay a bit more and order them toasted; they are even better buttered and toasted on the grill.Add honey and OMG.We also appreciate being able to have a mimosa, a Bloody Mary, or a draft beer.Thank you for your excellent service, Xenis!

Thanks for coming back in, Marsha. We hope to see you again soon!
I hadn’t been here in a very long time.Since before all of the nice buildings around it were there.Still has its nice vintage vibe, very retro and homey. The food is very good and the prices are great, if you’re drinking and partying on E.6th St., this is the greatest spot to go afterwards to put something in your stomach.Very convenient location, highly recommend.

Thanks, Erika. We hope to see you soon!
One of my only Austin misses on food. The food was average..I was with a group and they all came to the same conclusion. I did find their biscuit delicious but the rest of the meal was nothing to write home about. Looks like this place once was an institution but I don't think that is the case any longer.
