Hawaiian restaurant
Went on a busy Sunday.Staff were nice.Got our food fairly quick.Took it outside across the street and ate on the grass since it was so crowded. We were very happy that the food was super delicious and we’d definitely eat there again.Shared the teriyaki chicken plate and it was plenty for my husband and I.
There are a few inherent truths to food.Sauce makes or breaks a meal.Bacon is good.People who cut in front of you in line deserve to have a bad day. Atmosphere The line moves slowly and the market area here is crowded. It’s not romantic or relaxing, which is a shame because I’m here to romance and relax you, dear reader. Service Just fine. Food We got the guava bbq bacon pork bowl. The pork was nice and savory, the rice was cooked nicely, the bacon was plentiful, and the sauce elevated everything. One order was a lot of food. Drinks We got the pineapple mint iced tea.Couldn’t really taste the mint, but the drink wasn’t bad.I don’t think I’ll get it again. Price Typical for the quantity and quality of Hawaiian food Recommend? Yes
The pulled pork was really good.At first the portion looked small. But could barely finish it all.Good Hawaiian food.
