Was visiting with my family when a very nice lady approached us with an enticing voucher for green tea ice cream.I figured why not she seems very nice.Upon entry the place is clearly historical. They have pictures and captions that help you soak in the atmosphere of what Chinatown was like 200 years ago which is pretty cool. They gave us warm toilets to clean our hands before the meal and our server was very kind to my daughter who was visibly upset about sitting in the high chair. The food was average considering I had to wait for my veggie fried rice. When I received the bill I was shocked to see that I was charged $80 for two meals. One tea and a lemonade and veggie spring rolls. I scanned the bill and figured maybe there was something I didn’t understand so naturally I paid for my food and left with a very odd feeling that I was duped somehow. I understand this is a business and times are tough but some of their business practices will turn away more people than the money they’ll earn. Would not recommend.
I love this restaurant! I really enjoyed the views outside. The food came out really quickly and tasted great.I do wish they checked on us after we received everything, but everyone was so nice and accommodating that I just can’t be mad at them. ~thank you for complimentary bottle of wine and ice cream. They really go above and beyond
