Chester's Chicken in Lubbock is a cozy spot for a quick bite while on the road. I recently stopped by for some comfort food, and while the atmosphere is casual and friendly, the service was hit-or-miss.

I tried the chicken tenders and gizzards – the flavors weren’t bad, but I was disappointed that they didn’t offer cream gravy to accompany my meal...

The potato wedges were a tad dry, but the staff was accommodating. Unfortunately, some service hiccups left a sour note. I’d recommend stopping in for a quick lunch, but just be prepared for a bit of a wait! 🍗
