I recently stopped by Calliope's for a bite and was eager to try their hot sausage poboy! 🥪 While the flavor was spot on, with that satisfying NOLA kick, I was a bit surprised by the size for the price - $10.30 for a small that could've used more filling.
The cozy ambiance makes it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or takeout, and their spicy tartar sauce is a delightful touch.
I also tried the shrimp fried rice, which was perfectly cooked but could use a little more seasoning to elevate the dish.
