Brushfire Tacos y Tapas

I ordered online for Taco Tuesday and my husband picked up the food.
We decided to try every taco on the menu except the al pastor.
We also ordered every salsa, guacamole, chips, and Passion Iced Tea.
Order was ready at time promised.
I appreciated the containers and labels on the tacos.
The salsas were not labeled so my description may be for the wrong salsa, but I tried my best. -All tacos except fish and shrimp were on Taco Tuesday Special of $6 for two.
There was not an option to mix and match.
Al a carte fish and shrimp were regular price of about $6 each. Total Bill was about $55 before tax and tip on Taco Tuesday pricing for 10 tacos, 2 small chips, 2 small guacamole, 2 iced teas, and salsas.
On a regular day, the total would have been about $16 more. -Chicken Taco tasted like cat food smells.
Not pleasant. -Steak Taco was dry at best. -Birra Taco had two corn tortillas, so it was like getting four tacos instead of two.
However, I did not know we had to purchase the Birra dip for an additional cost.
So it was super dry.
And I didn't get to experience the Birra taco as it should be. -Shrimp Taco tasted fishy, not fresh.
I did not get any adobo seasoning. -Fish Taco was yummy.
I liked the flavor of the fish but the size of the fish and minimal slaw was disappointing. -Veggie Taco was ok.
Took me awhile to figure out that the potatoes were potatoes and I did not like them.
I did like the rest of the veggies. -All pastor pork was not ordered since neither of us like pineapple on tacos. -All tacos were greatly improved by adding any mixture of the salsas. -Brushfire Medium with Chipotle was by far the best.
It had flavor but not spice.
It was good. -Spicy mayo was pleasant but not worth the extra $0.50 -Verde was fresh, not sure what the other green was but it was also fresh with a nice bite. -Pico was not received -Inferno was not hot at all.
It had good flavor but wasn't spicy. -Overall, the slaw on each taco was good but lacking in amount, very sparse. -Guacamole was super chunky with lots of tomatoes and obviously fresh. -Chips we're good but did not have any hint of the lime salt promised. -Flour tortilla across the board were nicely heated with good taste. -Double corn tortilla was fresh. Website inconsistencies: -all salsas on the side, specified on regular menu, not specified on Taco Tuesday menu -no mention of the need to purchase birra sauce for the birra taco -Make it a meal is unclear, it says choose a tappa+chips and salsa or guac+ drink...
The tappa is the chips which is fine but not clear -very pleasant to talk to on the phone -L-make it a meal was removed from order with notation that it was no longer available, so I added it again and ended up with two chips, quacamole, and teas. Sadly, about two hours later, I got very sick.
I'm guessing it was the not fresh tasting shrimp as I'm the only one that ate it and only one that threw up half the night. I would not go back.
Regardless of getting sick, regular pricing is far too high.
Taco Tuesday deals isn't really a deal.
While the guacamole and Brushfire salsa were the best, it's not worth going back for.
There are multiple other taco places close enough, with far better food.

My favorites are Horchata, the steak fries and breakfast burritos.
The spicy Mayo is absolutely amazing and it taste super good.
Some of the best service I’ve had for a while.
Definitely one of my go to places for good quick eats 👍

Brushfire tacos y Tapas has become my favorite to go place for fast food.
Not only the food it’s delicious, they serve you promptly and you can’t beat their prices.
Their horchata is homemade and it’s delicious as well, the elote is one of my favorites when I just want a quick snack and their breakfast tacos are so delicious, don’t miss taco Tuesday! And tapas Thursday is when I love to get the elote, chips & salsa and empanada! All their food is great! For me they are like the 5 star fast food restaurant of them all, and overall healthier comparing to other fast food places.
Ohhh and their rewards program is great specially when you become a regular your points stack fast and you can easily save money, I love this place, thank you to all the servers as well, they are very nice, my little one loves when they give her stickers.
