We haven't been to Bob Evans in a long time, and now I'm wondering if that was a mistake.We went on Monday for dinner and were legitimately impressed.Dionee was one of the nicest, most energetic servers we've had in a while, even though it seemed like she was the only server while we were there.(I know they've had issues with staffing.) The portions were substantial for the prices, and the variety was good, though the breakfast items were the best option. The Whole Hog was indeed too much food for me alone, but it would be great to split with someone.This is one of the few sit down restaurants I've been to lately that has Wild Cherry Pepsi on tap (no, soda plus cherry syrup does not taste the same) and I was stoked about it the whole meal.I can definitely see us coming here again in the nearer future.

VERY DISRESPECTFUL Ordered and payed online for my niece and nephew breakfast at 11:18, was told my food would be done at 11:51 Show up at 12:00 just to be safe. Stand in line for 15 minutes before the guy at the register ask me for help Tell him my name and that I’m here for a pickup order Stand off to the side as to not bother anybody for 15 more minutes Finally ask the guy about my order and he yells that he’s busy doing 5 other things right now. 5 minutes go by and finally some other nice lady comes and asks me if I’ve been helped Tell her my name and why I’m here. She comes back and tells me she doesn’t think they started my order just yet Finally after another 15 minutes of standing there waiting they finally bring my food out, At this point I know longer want my food because of my extremely long wait and the guy at the counter’s attitude. Ask to return all the food and to get a refund The guy immediately and aggressively grabs the food I’ve already payed and waited almost 2 hrs for out of my hand and storms off, Comes back and says alright your good your money will be back on your card in 5 business days I ask if I can have a return receipt or some proof that shows I returned the food and will receive my money Apparently bob Evan’s is the only business that does not do this because that is what they say He wrote returned on my original receipt and was gracious enough to let me take a picture of it Was told to leave with no food or refund More then likely will call my bank and dispute charge because I do believe I was robbed Ended up going and grabbing the little ones taco bell

Food was pretty good, coffee was great. Service wasn't good at all, partially due to short staffing (?) and partially due to rude staff.We waited to be sat, without anyone even looking in our direction or even a simple "we'll be with you shortly" or a "Hello" although there were 2 ladies standing at the counter.
