River Street can be full of tourist traps, but this isn't one of them. There are great cocktail choices if you just want to stop in for a drink. You really feel the history when you are in this place.Of course I had to try the she crab soup and it was very good. The bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing but we didn't really care for the 'slaw' that it came with.I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the rich history and delicious cocktail choices.Your feedback on the she crab soup and bacon-wrapped shrimp is much appreciated. We'll make sure to pass along your comments about the slaw as well. Can't wait to have you back next time you're in the area!
There was a hostess standing outside, I don’t know if they’re there to greet or taking a break. But if they’re there to greet, I didn’t get any greetings. On the other hand, the waiter was absolutely generous, kind and he knows the menu. She crab soup was too thick to my liking, I don’t know if it’s the same as other places. But flavor is rich and you can taste the crab and some chunks of it too.The oyster Rockefeller was served warmed to my liking but there was too much cheese on top.It took the flavor of oysters away.It tasted a little better with lime juices on it.The fried fish sandwich was also served warmed to my liking along with crispy fries. The fish was golden brown and crispy on the outside and still juicy inside.I love the sauce that went along with it.The beef bacon burger was absolutely delicious with the moist beef patty and crispy bacon along with the delicious sauce.

Hi Hanny, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us.We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the waiter’s service and some of our dishes, like the fried fish sandwich and beef bacon burger. We appreciate your comments on the she-crab soup and oysters Rockefeller and will take them into consideration.Hope to have you back soon for another meal!
The steaks were cooked perfectly.I enjoyed the fact that my asparagus was crisp and not drowning in butter. The bread pudding was one of the best I've ever had; the creme anglaise really made that dish. The ambience was suited to Savannah, old world charm with a hint of dark moodiness. The sweet potato waffle fries were a bit over done and hard.Other than that we enjoyed our overall experience.
