Definitely more of a brewpub. It is restaurant focused and doesn’t have the brewery atmosphere. You are greeted by a host rather than a bartender. They do have a sizable bar section though with a very large bar and tables all around it.The covered patio section is also quite large. It would be great on a nice day. There are 20 taps with a wide range of styles ranging from light and refreshing, to hop-forward, sour and complex, or dark and malty with some canned seltzers to round it out. There should be something for just about everyone if they’re not a stalwart, picky person. The atmosphere was pleasant.Adult pop music was playing. It’s bright with lots of windows. No noise control so the crowd gets pretty loud.People with hearing aids would struggle to hear anything. The entrance is handicap accessible and there’s a fair amount of parking available. There were dogs on the patio. The beers are poured in 16oz and 7oz (perfect for people who want a bit more beer in their flights than 5oz pours). The flights come in sets of 4, but there is no discount compared to buying 4 individual 7oz glasses so don’t feel pressured to go that route. I didn’t try the food. The prices were about 20% higher than I’d normally consider paying. They’re high enough that I’d think twice about picking this place for food. The beer prices were as expected though at $5-7 for a 16 oz. Overall, the beers were good. The flavors were mild and there was a good selection.I’d recommend stopping by for drinks and for food occasionally. It’d be a great place to go on a business trip.

Wow, thank you so much Jason for your kind words and detailed review! We're so glad you enjoyed your time with us.Next time you stop into the taproom, next beer is on us! Cheers!
Awesome patio area.Plenty of space.Love that it’s dog friendly, just wish our experience with the service would match the atmosphere.A girl with blue hair and a nose ring initially was our server and just mysteriously stopped showing up after we asked for a few minutes to look at the menu.We had to order from the bar even though she was serving every other table around us.When someone finally brought our food out it was cold.Today the patio was only half full and I imagine she does this to everyone.Extremely disappointed, as this was our first experience.Shame the service was so horrible- the food might have been good if it were hot..:

We appreciate you taking the time to review us, Brynn! Glad to hear you enjoyed the patio, but are sorry to hear the service didn’t meet your standards or ours.We strive to deliver exceptional service and hospitality, so we hope you’ll give us another chance to serve you again. Can you send us an email at alexi@biggrovebrewery.com so we can make this right?
Fantastic craft beer selection along with delicious locally sourced food options.Huge space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.Patio is also dog friendly.Every drink and food item was tasty, and I can't wait to go back and try more!
