Belford's Savannah Seafood & Steaks

Being born and raised in MD, and having recently moved to FL, these were the best most authentic jumbo lump crab cakes I've had south of VA in a long time!! Seems that southern style crab cakes tend to have bell peppers, or even corn at times, with no lump crab and mostly junk meat and filler.
These were NOT the case! Very happy with the flavor, just wish they were a bit larger. Brunch on a Saturday wasn't hard to get a table even though we made reservations. Dog friendly patio with ceiling fans and great location for people watching. Crab cake benedict and crab cakes were good.
Shrimp and grits were lackluster.
It was a grit cake rather than creamy grits and just were dry and lacked flavor.
Shrimps were fine, but nothing to write home about and the greens were the same. Espresso martini wasn't great, but the candied bacon Manhattan was good. So some hit or misses, but would be back for the crab cakes and other things.

The service and atmosphere here are great! Parties are seated once everyone arrives...
The restaurant is walking distance from numerous shops which was great for the kids when they got bored.
The food was good, but maybe my expectations were too high; I wasn't blown away.
The steak filet was cooked to temperature but it needed a crust.
It tasted like it was fresh out of the sous vide.
The table bread and she-crab soup looked amazing but ended up just being- 'meh', I didn't get to try the fried chicken but heard it was delicious.
The fried green tomatoes and deserts however were a hit! Everything seemed a bit overpriced compared to how it tasted.

This place was okay you would think it would have nicer for the price our waitress Danielle was okay.
Rather have her then the guy that talked the other couple to death.
My salad had a piece of plastic in it when I let Danielle know she got the manager when they replaced the salad it, was much smaller they only told half off the salad.
My mom drink taste like she ordered a mocktail not a cocktail that's sad.
When I was in the bathroom one of working in the restaurant banging on my door there was more then one toilet in the room.
When came I said to it's all yours and she said no wait and I said you couldn't wait when I was in there so by all means use it.
I don't think I go back there is not as classy as it out from the outside.
