The food was delicious! I asked for medium heat and my eyes were watering by the second bite! The chairs, tables, and dishes are all in need of upgrades.
They do look worn, but I definitely enjoyed the experience!

I’m very surprised by some of the negative reviews on here.
I can’t say I know authentic Indian food well, but this is most definitely one of the better tasting Indian options in Indianapolis.
And the complaints about the pricing were especially surprising…$15 for a plate of quality chicken and rice is pretty hard to beat when eating downtown unless you’re looking for bar food or fast food haha.
And the added 18% gratuity is less than the average 20% that most people tip, so that doesn’t bother me at all.
Even when service is horrendous, the lowest I ever tip is 15% and our service was perfectly fine here.
I applaud the cuisine and service and will be back anytime I’m craving Indian food downtown.

"AROMA is a culinary gem! The chef's mastery was evident in the delectable potato and onion kulcha, flavorful pindi chole, and the delightful orange pudding.
An explosion of authentic Indian flavors! My only suggestion would be to consider slightly increasing portion sizes for an even more satisfying experience.
Additionally, considering the cuisine, it would be great to replace fork and knife with spoons for a more authentic experience.
Overall, A must-visit for those seeking a blend of culinary excellence and warm hospitality."
