When I found this place online I was wondering why there were so little pictures of the atmosphere and so many pictures of the food. Now I get it.The food experience was so engulfing that we totally forgot to take photos of the beautiful and cozy setting. We had the Focaccia to start and to was SO good. For main course my wife had the scallop risotto and she loved it.I requested a spicy kick to my Parpadelle and it was a amazing.Perfectly savory meals and deliciously sweet dessert. The chocolate sticky toffee pudding was crazy good. Not overly sweet and deliciously satisfying. We were scraping our plates. And the drinks were perfect.I had the old fashioned and my wife had a dirty martini. Our server was experienced and knew his menu.He was able to give a great description of what the food is like and made the decision process easy.Highly recommend this place.
We recently dined at this restaurant and was impressed by its eloquent decor and inviting atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, offering a warm greeting upon our arrival. Our server demonstrated great knowledge and attentiveness throughout the meal, answering any questions we had. The mixed drinks were enjoyable, offering good flavors, but I found them to be on the smaller side. The flavors of the food were delightful, though the serving sizes were a bit underwhelming, particularly considering the prices. The overall experience was marred by the disappointment of spending a considerable amount on the meal, only to find ourselves hungry again shortly afterward. The availability of valet parking is a plus, especially considering the difficulty of finding parking spots in the area. Having a pork allergy significantly limited the available choices, making it challenging to find suitable options on the menu. While we were pleased with the exquisite flavor experience at this restaurant, the likelihood of a return visit is doubtful due to the perceived mismatch between serving sizes and prices.
Dined in with my wife.We were first-time visitors. We really liked the atmosphere and the crowd that patroned the place. We sat in the bar area in a corner to ourselves. Our server was Marvin and he was excellent: very friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt to service our every need. The food was good.I had the Maw Maw ravioli and my wife had the grouper. Our only complaint is that on the menu, the ravioli showed to be $18, but when the tab came, it was $36.We had no issue paying, but the discrepancy in price was misleading.Marvin advised us that the dinner portion is double, but the menu said no such thing if my memory serves me correctly. The alcohol beverages we had were well-made.We tried the chocolate sticky toffee dessert, and it was outstanding.Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely come again. If you're dining as a couple, expect to spend around $150.
