September 23, 2024I had high hopes for 888 Beijing Chinese Restaurant, but my experience was a mixed bag.
The Mongolian beef was truly exceptional – tender beef with perfectly sautéed onions. However, I was disappointed to find my daughter's lo mein contained only two shrimp. 😟 The large vegetable fried rice was tasty but needed more sauce; two packets of duck sauce just didn't cut it!
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. They do need to spruce up the dining area and toilets, though.
Considering the variety on the menu, it’s worth a second chance. Just remember to specify your spice level! 🥡
