My daughters brought me to 22 Square for Mother's Day.
We ordered from a special Mother's day brunch menu: a choice of appetizer, main meal, and dessert.
The food was very good.
The space was bright due to the windows and simple (not plain).
Our server was pleasant and helpful.
I enjoyed the shrimp and grits (some of the best I have had) but also tasted the chicken and waffles which were delicious.
The value for the quantity and quality of food for a brunch let alone a Mother's day brunch was great.

I only had breakfast at this restaurant, and was very satisfied.
The service was very attentive and friendly, and the recommendations given by our server were spot on.
Apparently, the Shrimp and Grits dish is their specialty so even though it was not on the menu, it was recommended.
Looks like all the people who praised the dish in their reviews didn't exaggerate as it was that good.
Other items on the menu such as eggs any style, or eggs with waffles were also good.
But if i had to pick just one favorite item, that would be shrimp and grits.
