The good: the servers were attentive and nice.
The taco was decent and I like the location. The bad: the worst margarita I’ve ever had.
It tasted like straight up margarita mix and soda water.
I think the bartender forgot to put tequila in it?? I don’t like my drinks too strong, but you should be able to taste a little bit of tequila and not all mix.
I took a couple of sips and couldn’t drink it.
The salsa was so bland.
There are way too many Mexican type/taco places in the Charleston area that are so much better for me to be a repeat customer.
I’m giving 2 stars because the waitstaff was good.

Absolutely terrible experience.
Ordered takeout inside, and I was barely acknowledged.
They weren’t friendly at all.
I’m not picky about food or service, but at least give a half smile or use some common manners.
The portions for the $15 Platos are well below average too.
We went back inside and asked for more.
They continued to be rude and said, “that’s the normal portion” but to their credit they gave us more chicken.
The pieces of chicken in each plate were cold too..

Maybe I am the 1% that travels abroad and expects a certain authenticity when I see a restaurant named with a Mexican theme but I was a little disappointed by the fact that the corn tortillas were out of the pack and not cooked on the grill nor was the steak cooked to order as those items were cold when served. I ordered 3 different styles of tacos and one was carnitas and it really was something like a shredded pork out of the can. The attached picture shows the lack of grilling on the corn tortillas.
I rated 4 stars because the restaurant was clean, staff is friendly and it looks like it can be a cool place to hang out.
