Oxtail tender and full of flavor.

Came here 2 days in a row. Day 1) = curry goat, perfect spice level, and RICH flavor.
Got the red beans and rice and fried plantain, ginger beer and coconut rum cake Day 2) ox tail BEST IVE HAD IN LIFE! Same side as above, ginger beer, and coconut rum cake I got the large portion for both they also have a medium option. I had food to spare both days. Service is welcoming, kind and friendly. I’ve been in Charleston for 2 years and this is my favorite restaurant. If you’re reading this COME HERE!!! I am cutting this review short because I have to go, but there are no lack of words that I could use to describe this healthy environment, and amazing food. If you are reading this come here ! Also, the prices were great, the main entrée was $25 even with the large size .

Got this recommendation from the hotel front desk in downtown Charleston.
It was worth the trek! I ordered the medium size oxtail with rice, plantains and veggies.
The oxtails were perfectly flavored and super tender and fell off the bones.
I did not finish this plate as it was huge!! The pineapple ginger beer was so good.
I wish I had ordered one to go! Has high fructose corn syrup but the flavors were sweet and tart just the way I like it Staff were amazing.
The nicest people I’ve met in Charleston and they seem so genuine.
I’d come back frequently if I lived here. This place is definitely work the Uber ride! The prices are also amazing! You would pay at least twice the price in downtown. Shout out to Malik at Hyatt Place Historic District for the recommendation!!
