Hamburger restaurant, Breakfast restaurant
As I travel, I like to go to âlocal placesâ to eat.The food is usually better, money goes to small businesses rather than multi-national corporations. So, I found XL California Burger while in Phoenix. It was old school. As you can see, the double burger, bacon and cheeses, was better and bigger than a double quarter pound Big Mac.Serving size wasnât chinchy either.I loved this place.
Superpricey. The menu pricing is deceiving. It is the item price plus the medium $3.99 to $4.99 large) for a meal (drink/fries).They were pretty quick for the large order I placed.I was a bit sad to see the box type fish-- thought they would be hand breaded in house.
First time here, and probably my last. The service was fast but the food wasnât the best .I ordered the chicken strips, fried mushrooms, and fried zucchini.Everything was way over salted, and the chicken strips were flat as pancakes and very crunchy. They also donât have trays so you have to get every plate one by one and thatâs really annoying too.
