Told to check to place out from a Barber in Cleveland TN and he wasn't wrong! We arrived about 430 pm on a Wednesday afternoon, walked into to a completely empty restaurant and was a little concerned.
The host said it will be busy about 530.
We sat at the bar and got some details on the cocktail drinks there are known for.
We also ordered some cheese bread to start.
The drinks were delicious and the cheese bread was to die for, probably the best we have every had.
We order another round and split a 12 inch pizza that was spot on.
The service was great, I think 3 different bar tenders came around and check on us, the food came out fast and hot from the brick oven in view.
Only thing I was a little taken back from was the Whiskey and Bourbon pour prices, Good selection but some prices were higher here for a 1 or 2 oz pour then I have found in DC or Orlando, just noting it because my cocktail price was fair.
The crowd did start piling in around 515 and by the time we left the place was full.
The service level never changed and the people were super cool.
Only our second time in Chattanooga, but starting to see the appeal to this town more and more.
We will be back next time we're in town.

Very kind & attentive.
My husband’s shrimps were a bit spicy and she made it right for us without question.
Scallops were cooked perfectly.
Beautiful presentation.
The risotto was a little soupy but the flavor was very good.
The citrus perfectly balanced with the richness of the scallops.

I’m visiting Chattanooga for a few days and I came to wooden city TWICE! Both days the food was DELICIOUS! Heirloom tomatoes, Caesar salad, BOTH veggie burgers and corn are FIRE! Drinks and wine, delicious.
Maddy, Miles, Johnathan and everyone I came in contact with were sooo cool! Customer service top tier! I coming back to visit just for wooden city in the near future.
