It's got a western diner feel. The owner is the main cook. The food is delicious and you can see the pride in the way it is made.Staff is super kind and caring even when my nonverbal but very noisy autistic 4 y/o comes with us.Highly recommend the bronco buster! Adding a pic of the biscuits and gravy.
This place was recommended to me by a former employee while I was booking a room at a local hotel.A good sign. Place is a mom and pop restaurant with a lot of character. Is it new and shiny? No, but that's for the better. The menu has variety: Mexican food, traditional American (steaks and burgers), Italian, and more I can recall. Shirley did a good job waiting on us.We had multiple conversations with her during our meal and checkout. We were able to relate on the topic of driving straight the many between the many miles between here and Tennessee (my home state). The cook or owner (never asked which) came by to ask "how badly did I ruin your steak?" The sense of humor is much appreciated.I got the top sirloin covered in mushrooms, grilled onions, and gravy. The mushrooms were a topic of conversation since I always enjoy cooked mushrooms. He and I chatted for about 5 minutes, this is a first for me since every other place will just ask a quick question and then immediately leave. My friend got the Adovada Burrito with the following sides: rice, beans, and pico de Gallo. She loved the spiciness. These are the experiences I love to have on a road trip.
