I am going to preface by saying it is a very westernized japanese restaurant.Coming from 3 years in japan has probably made this review extremely bias. Pro: - affordable - diverse menu - tailored to alot of western tastes - has japanese and Korean options - shrimp tempura - chicken wings Con: - extremely americanized - sauce on everything - fish quality - anything with the soft shell crab - wait time to get your food (they only have one guy preparing all the fish, so if it is a busy night be prepared to wait.Don't take toddlers) - miso soup I really wanted to like it, but between the long wait times for food and then the quality, we ended up not eating alot of it.But don't take my word for it, we are just used to a diferent quality.I am glad this option exists in Fayetteville.
Ate here for the second time, the first time we had takeout.The second time we dined in.We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was very quiet.We were the only customers but a family came in later and more people came in later when we were leaving.The atmosphere was nice, place was small but the staff made it warm and inviting.The food was delicious best tempura I've had in Fayetteville.I got a mixed shrimp and veggies tempura and the crunch was perfect, it was superbly done.I also ordered the double dragon and a Shrimp and Steak Hibachi plate.They didn't disappoint.The rice was excellent, my steak was seasoned well and it was a perfect medium rare.The veggies were excellent and I love their ginger dressing on their salad.The food was so fulfilling that we couldn't finish itall and was able to take it home.And it was perfect for dinner later on.
Quiet, and Small, but nice Japanese restaurant.Food was good, and a little different than what I'm used to, but still good.Service was good as well.
