During a rainy Sunday morning, we went in for brunch and were immediately impressed.Nae, our server, made the experience unique and memorable. Her ability to recommend dishes demonstrated her knowledge on the menu and that made our time there even better.I ordered the lobster omelette and my partner ordered the shrimp and salmon grits.I have never been a fan of grits my entire life and for the first time I can say, I LOVED Uptown’s shrimp and salmon grits. It was the perfect consistency and the blackened salmon was the perfect pair.I will definitely return when I come back into town! Thank you Nae for the experience!
It's Sunday brunch time! First off, parking can be kind of tricky, but if you park in the open lot behind the gas station next door, you're okay.We had a long wait because of St.Patty's Day but it wasn't a big deal.We looked at the menu online before we were seated so we could order right away.We had the bucket of mimosas shrimp and grits biscuits and gravy and their seafood balls.Everything was great even after the long wait. They were very apologetic but we were worried. The quality of food and the service was superb.
There are many options on the menu, so it wasn't easy to choose, because everything looked so good. The catfish and grits were seasoned perfectly.Typically, you need to add something to your grits, but no additional seasoning was needed.Everything was excellent, and I left feeling full.
