September 06, 2024Unco Frank’s is a hidden gem nestled within The Bitter End wine bar! 🌺 The casual vibe with vinyl decor adds a unique touch. I tried the PuPu platter alongside the Mochiko Chicken, which was lightly fried and deliciously glazed - truly different than typical Hawaiian fare. The fries were a standout, paired with a savory, spicy sauce that’s hard to resist.
While some dishes leaned a bit salty, it didn’t overshadow the authenticity of the flavors. Quick service and a menu that caters to both solo diners and groups make it a great spot for lunch or dinner. Definitely returning for that fried rice - I’m a Spam lover! 🍚
