American restaurant, Bar
My husband & I stopped there tonight for dinner. What a great place! Our service was just a tad off, but very friendly & helpful. Our food was excellent! Fresh, colorful, flavorful and just the right portion.I had the Sonoma Steak Salad and my husband had the Pecan Trout, which he said was the best he had eaten!Drinks were also served with appropriate amounts of liquor. We will return and hope anyone reading this, goes also! ✌️
Tavern, Le Margot, now Towne Grill. All very well run places. This was the first time we checked this place out.Remember it being Houlihan's for a couple of years (never checked that place out).Had a last minute date night opportunity pop up, so we came here.Had previous excellent experiences with Tavern and LeMargot (and actually going back to LM tomorrow), we were excited to check this place out.Chef Armenta obviously knows what it takes to run a successful establishment from soup to nuts.It shows.Opening the door the establishment is chic and modern, dark-ish, metropolitan but classic. We were greeted immediately and shown to a table.Very knowledgeable girl with glasses with her hair in a bun (redhead I think?).They team wait tables which leads to a better experience I think.Service was great.Blackened mahi with the Cole slaw was ridiculous and deviled eggs were delicious. That bit of crispy bacon was delicious and made the deviled eggs. Blueberry bread pudding was a TAD bit disappointing....there were more blueberries outside the pudding than INSIDE, but with the ice cream (delicious) and blueberries on the plate, it worked. The wine list: for an establishment like that, the wine list gets a solid B+/A-.Lots of boutique selections and curated wines. The Antica Chardonnay went well with the blackened mahi and pecan crusted flounder (the blackened mahi was better).Definitely will be back!
Five stars across the board! Service was all great. We ended up with two servers because one went off shift, but there was nothing missed or messed up.They were both on point. Atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a bit cosy with the fireplace going. Food was incredible! We started off with some spinach and artichoke dip with chipotle salsa and sour cream served with tortilla chips. It was served very hot (temperature). It was very delicious! I tried the blackened mahi mahi.It was some of the best I've had.Love the shrimp and butter sauce it came with.Mashed potatoes were nothing special but delicious with the sauce. I also tried the margarita on the cocktail menu and I gotta say, that was an absolutely amazing drink! Everyone loved their entries. We split the key lime pie and everyone was in heaven. You can't go wrong here for the hell of it or for an event dinner.
