A charming modern Southern seafood restaurant with welcoming atmosphere.
We were seated inside dining room but I love the outdoor porch seatings.
Both service and food were great. My friend and I start off with Half dozen Oysters, and Carolina Gold Hushpuppies.
The Pepper Jelly for the hushpuppies was amazingly good. For entrees, I ordered the Duck Confit Pasta which was pretty tasty and my friend opted for the Grouper with Grilled Stuffed Zucchini.

Cocktails are unique and definitely worth a try. We started with a half dozen local oysters that were briny and super fresh. The Crispy skin flounder with roasted mushroom puree had a wonderful woodsy flavor.
The pickled shallots added a bright vinegar flavor.
It was absolutely delicious.
Yellowfin tuna with a peanut romesco was nutty, acidic and paired with roasted carrots that brought out the sweetness. Small menu but something for everyone.
The use of fresh local ingredients makes it place to keep trying.

The green gazpacho made with cucumber and almonds was bright and topped with nc crab.
The seared tile fish was crisp and tender.
Served with shrimp and potato hash it was accompanied by the creamiest sweet corn cream with poblanos and grilled okra.
The flavor was amazing, could have easily licked the bowl clean with this sauce. The poached grouper and clams were served with a beer broth and fennel which lended a peppery finish.
This was offset with some sweet roasted sweet potatoes and peaches. This restaurant never misses with delicious food and great service.

Excellent flavors, amazing cuisine , and phenomenal meals.
Prepared perfectly, great atmosphere, lived up to the hype! I don’t like okra, but the okra was exceptional! Will return!
