We traveled down to River Oaks to try the highly rated wings at The Wing Spot, and I'm happy to report that the wings are worth the trip. The place was pretty easy to find and has decent parking, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We learned about daily lunch specials and an upcoming happy hour option with what sounded like some great food specials. We ordered our 30 piece half Buffalo Medium and half Buffalo Hot, and both were served hot, crispy (the Party wings are crispier than the Jumbo wings) and flavorful. We plan to be back and done in, and we'll visit the bar to try some of the nice top shelf tequilas.

First time, at first, I thought this was going to be a bad experience, restrooms were out of order, and I didn't have any diet drinks or teas.
We decided to try it out anyway.
We ordered a Mac & Cheese appetizer and wings, and we also tried the fried fish.
Wings were reasonably priced and were not too bad.
The fied fish was actually my favorite, and the mac & cheese bites were also good.
We will come back and recheck this place out at a later time when they have gotten some of the issues fixed.
They do have a bar with plenty of tvs, but they should have put some on the back wall near the entrance as well..
if you back is again the bar and you are facing the front there's not much to look at if you come in to watch your team play.
Hope they correct this, too.
This place has a lot of potential.

Towards the enterance there’s 2 reasons why we can’t put TVs .
1 because the sunlight that comes in blocks the view of the TV .
So we moved everything forward , until we figure out , how to overcome that .
We do have Diet Coke , diet Dr Pepper , and we have sweet and Unsweet Tea .
Our ladies room is out of order because some kids came in this morning and clogged it up and our plumber doesn’t work on sundays .

I’ll first say that these wings are the best in the area.
The food was great, and the service was friendly.
The family that runs this restaurant are the nicest and most hospitable people I’ve met in a long time.
Their desserts are delicious, too.
The cream puffs are perfect.
We’ll definitely be back.
