The service was excellent, we had a 45 minute wait but we were able to wait next door and grab some wine. Our food came out quickly, the food was all great except my steak was very undercooked for what I ordered. The waitress adjusted our bill so that helped make that not suck as bad. We ordered the meat tornado, dinner rolls, wagyu special, ny strip, and bananas foster cheesecake. It was all delicious (minus the undercooked steak) and honestly we will be back again if we’re ever in the area.It was still a great experience.
We were in town for the Peach Festival and got lucky with the last 2 seats at the bar.The restaurant is comfortable, the decor on point, and the staff very welcoming.Behind the bar, Kordell was excellent in explaining their Old Fashioned Flight (on nitro tap) and some of their speciality drinks. We had the flight and found it, typically, too sweet. We ordered a Peach, Please! (yes, its sweet but it's expected that way) and Smokey Bear OF (1/2 the sweetness) and enjoyed those while waiting for the Meat Pile (just as it sounds) with sides of shrooms, garlic white mashed potatoes, and roasted vegetables.Steak was tender and flavorful; the sides were average (dollars to doughnuts the roasted vegetables are frozen from Costco, I'm certain I've cooked them myself). After talking with the other two bartenders, Sean and Aaron, we decided to compare the Bardstown and High West whiskeys both finished in Prisoner wine barrels.Their bourbon, whiskey, and finished whiskey selection runs from everyday to the hard-to-find allocated offering. If you like a comfortable atmosphere with excellent steaks and varied whiskies, this might be the place for you.
I made a reservation here for my daughter to celebrate her birthday.I requested they announce her birthday or something, and they sure did.She loved it! Matt was loud and proud and really made her feel welcomed and celebrated. On top of that she loved the food and the service was top notch. They ordered the rib eye, green chili mac, brussel sprouts. Then the dessert was a salted Carmel lava cake which was amazing! Great place, great food, and great service.
