My husband took me out to dinner here for my 50th birthday and everything was perfect! The ambience is exactly what he was looking for.
Quiet, not crowded, and dark, but not too dark.
The food was delicious and Richard, our server was fantastic! All of the staff was incredible.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!

Absolutely disgraceful! My wife and I decided on this place for our Wedding anniversary 11 years. Shown in the picture was the $130 seafood Tower that we received.
Yet we didn't complain a single time, focusing on our Anniversary. Then my wife and I both ordered prime rib the service took extremely long! Given we we're enjoying a bottle of wine and were in absolutely no rush. Finally we were both given colder than room temperature prime rib. Whoever I spoke to about it, gave many excuses for how hard it is to keep prime rib all day at exact temperatures. Well I hate to explain this to you but there are many restaurants capable of doing exactly that, serving your patrons and well-paying customers cold prime rib at a Steakhouse is unheard of. My wife and I asked for both prime ribs to be replaced with our specified internal temperature and for it to Please be fresh+Hot.
what was brought to us was 2 microwaved gray pieces of prime rib! No kidding! (Sonny Lubick's microwaved our two Prime ribs) Very first time making reservations there to eat and absolutely it will be the last. All respect was lost for Sonny Lubick's Steakhouse.

Roasted Prime Rib$47.00 Split Plate Au Gratin$7.00 Unless we purchased a bottle of wine and an order of Prime Rib, your recollection of the evening from a year ago doesn't correspond with our records.
That said, we're terribly sorry the 16oz prime rib you shared with your wife was not served at the temperature you desired.
Sonny's has never cooked meat in a microwave, nor will we ever.
We do have several techniques we deploy to serve prime rib as warm as possible, without compromising the internal temperature of the meat.
The first is a hot plate, the second is dunking the meat in aus jus.
The second of these techniques has the unfortunate side effect of robbing the meat of color.
Although the internal temperature is not impacted, it does give the meat a duller hue.
We know how important special occasions are, and there is nothing more frustrating to us than knowing we missed our mark enough to prompt you to review your experience a year after the fact.
We sincerely hope your dining needs are met at any of the other fantastic eateries in Fort Collins, and we're sorry to hear you won't be dining with us in the future.

Nice place, reminds me of a Speakeasy as you walk down the steps to the restaurant.
With nice memorable, friendly staff. I was surprised/Shocked there's no elevator or ramp for handicap & guest with difficulty with stairs.
Prime Rib was tuff, calamari was chewy
