The food and cocktails here were absolutely amazing!! We ordered most of the appetizers on the menu and all of them were phenomenal.
The margaritas were really tasty too.
Great vibe inside … will return again soon!

The Statesman is the new hot spot to eat and drink on 6th street!! We celebrated four birthdays and very impressed with the quality of the food and service!! We loved the many options offered on their menu.
There is something for everyone and especially considering food allergies.
The seafood is amazing!! Succulent oysters, tuna tartare and calamari! Perfect satisfying portions that allow room to taste more items on the menu.
Steaks were cooked to perfection and the sauce on the ribeye is to die for!! We enjoyed tasty cocktails and wine with our meals, and everything paired beautifully! The Statesman has a cool Austin vibe yet classy but not a stuffy atmosphere like most fine dining restaurants.
We were all very impressed for the fact that the restaurant is new and they are already killing it! We can’t wait to return and highly recommended it!!

I’ve eaten at this place a few times now and the food just gets better each time.
Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful.
AND who doesn’t LOVE the champagne button!! Highly recommend this place for great food, amazing drinks and awesome vibe.
Definitely recommend the smokey old fashioned tequila!
