These drinks are what "tiki drinks" are supposed be.
Holy crap the painkiller was great, fresh grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick burning like incense balanced on top with actual fresh fruit (not your typical bar oranges).
The show was entertaining and lively, south pacific live music, classy burlesque, and a bit of humor. We didn't have reservations, but we're able to be seated at the bar pretty quickly by the delightful hostess.
Bartender was friendly, quick, and clearly a professional. Apparently they do game nights as well, which sounds awesome but haven't been for that, yet. Will definitely be back!

Detailed and captivating atmosphere! The drinks were fun and tasty.
I had the painkiller cocktail ($15) - I really enjoyed the coconut cream top and the burning cinnamon stick. I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for an enchanting atmosphere to get drinks with friends or for a date.
I'd love to come back for an event, as the space is centered around a stage.
I would be obsessed if they held a murder mystery event!

What an amazing place! This is the first Tiki bar that we have visited in North Carolina.
I've been following them on Instagram since they opened about 2 years ago, and we have thought about making the trip into Wilmington every time we've been in the area.
Last night we finally did it.
We were not disappointed! They have an amazing selection of handcrafted classic tiki cocktails, and a pretty nice selection of their own contemporary Tiki cocktail creations.
The menu is fairly minimal, and focuses on their platters.
Everything on the platter was absolutely delicious. After you get your food and cocktails, they invite you to go exploring.
The entire establishment is designed around the theme of an old explorers club.
There is esoterica from around the world displayed on the walls and in cabinets.
There is an entire fictional backstory that is worth exploring.
Some nights they have live entertainment and bands, and other nights they don't. The service was fantastic.
Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
We will be back again next week. Highly recommended!
