September 23, 2024The Seasoning King is an absolute gem in Akron! 🌟 The ambiance is casual and welcoming, making it perfect for a relaxed solo lunch or a cozy dinner with friends.
I tried the fried catfish which was crispy on the outside and tender inside - definitely comfort food at its finest! The collard greens on the side were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor.
The staff was friendly, and I appreciated their LGBTQ+ friendly vibe. Plus, the free parking was a bonus! Can't wait to come back for more delicious soul food! 🍽️
I decided to visit this establishment for the first time after my appointment because I had a strong desire for some fish.The proprietor was very friendly and courteous, taking the time to answer any inquiries I had.I placed an order for the Perch dinner and added two chicken wings, and everything was prepared fresh.Upon arriving home and sampling the food, I was thoroughly impressed with its quality.The chicken and fish were cooked to perfection, evoking a sense of nostalgia for my grandmother's cooking.I intend to return in the future to explore additional menu items.I highly recommend giving this establishment a try.

‼️ ‼️‼️‼️ THIS IS SO GOOD daquane just brought my food to me I got the mac & cheese with the greens, the catfish, and the whiting and the cornbread.I cannot believe how delicious and fresh and warm everything is.This is literally tasting like thanksgiving plus I haven’t had catfish since I was like six years old so this catfish really real reminds me of my grandma thank you! Memory lane ❤️
