I recently had breakfast at The Oak Room Restaurant in San Francisco, and while the atmosphere felt casual and welcoming, it left me with mixed feelings.
The breakfast buffet offered a standard selection for $33, but the food was hit or miss. The croissants were a highlight - flaky and light - but the scrambled eggs were disappointing, tasting somewhat artificial. The coffee was decent, but I expected more from a hotel of this caliber!
On the upside, the servers were wonderful, offering fast and friendly service. I hope once renovations are complete, the dining experience will elevate, as it's currently located in a large conference room. Fingers crossed for a return to its former glory! ☕🍽
