The Dirty Buffalo

The service was great, and the food was as well.
My grandmother who is super picky, can’t wait to go back for more of the baked beans and wings.
The plates were tasty and a great portion of food.
We had “The Dirty Pig” and “The Dirty Burg”.
The pork BBQ was tasty, but seemed on the small side compared to the ground beef on the “Burg”.
The pork was on a bed of baked beans, that were on the sweet side.
If you don’t like sweet, ask them for a sample.
They were very good regardless.
The “Burg” was soooo good.
The macaroni salad has just the right amount of crisp and tart, that it complimented the well cooked burger patty it was topped with.
And the dirty sauce is banging! Be forewarned it’s a little spicy.
Not horrible, but if you aren’t expecting it, it could get you.
The wings were ordered plain, and bone in.
They were crispy, and large, and better than most that’s for sure.
They have a stellar line up of wing sauces and rubs, and offer a special sauce of the week, drink, and food specials.
We will be back.

Cool looking place inside, but bit it stops there...First, extremely slow service was the first problem.
It took 15 mins to even be greeted by our waiter.
There were plenty of wait staff, but some were arguing over which tables to take at the hostess station? Second, I got the dirty tenders and the whole plate was swimming in sauce.
I couldn't taste anything except the "Buffalo Soldier" sauce which wasn't that great, either.
My plate was cold when it was brought out, it's almost like they had it sitting and just tried to refresh it with more sauce and a microwave.
My wife also got the dirty tenders with sweet BBQ and just her tenders had sauce, like normal, and the Mac and cheese and potatoes were not sauced. Finally, the waiter was extremely slow, never offered refills, and said he would see what he could do about my meal when I mentioned to him I couldn't enjoy it due to so much sauce.
Nothing was ever done, and I was charged full price.
At this point we had been waiting forever with 2 kids for their to go containers and our check, and I didn't feel like staying there any longer. I have to say the one we visited in Aug 2023 in Norfolk was a million times better!

Cmon dirty buffalo! What happened to you? Second time ordering here in the last 2 months and won't be back.
I remember when the wings were juicy, crunchy, and had a lot of sauce on them.
The last two times have been extremely disappointing.
The mac and cheese was also super dry.
I come here because i loved you guys' wings, no one did it better and everything on the menu used to be amazing.
But, wont return after tonight.
I feel robbed of my money.
Shame man, shame.
