TGI Fridays

My wife and I stopped in here last Tuesday early evening for a few appetizers and a few drinks. Haven't been to TGI Fridays and sometime wanted to check it out again.
They have great new little appetizers that are very tasty on their menu.
We sampled several of them and several drinks. I want to say thank you to our waiter and bartender Parker who was more than helpful with everything and a great server as well. They have happy hour everyday of the week from 3:00 p.m.
to 6:00 p.m.
with daily drink specials, $4 cocktails, $5 wines or $2 draft beers!!! We ordered up some of their delicious $5 appetizers that did not disappoint and I highly recommend all 3 dishes.
We ordered the truffle tot chos, the whiskey glazed chicken slammers, and the buffalo chicken slammers! All three were very filling and very tasty!!! Awesome job TGI Fridays will be back!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What I am about to say is in no way related to our waitress' service, who did the very best that she could. My mother and I came in to TGIFs for lunch last week.
As far as I saw, only 2 other people had come in during our time there.
Why did we come here? Well, our other options like Texas roadhouse were still closed at 11:30am.
So we settled.
We were hungry. An empty restaurant greeted us, resembling nothing of 10-20 years ago.
I remember this place always being packed, the 3 tiered Daniel's sampler being the favorite app, tropical berry mojitos, the killer spinach artichoke dip. Well we ordered the dip.
It didn't even look like spinach and artichokes.
Nothing like what it used to look like. It tasted and looked like some sort of creamy green liquid with something white and crunchy sprinkled on top before getting warmed up. The food was obviously microwaved and frozen. There was a little cup of "salsa" with the chips.
It tasted like the bottom of a salsa jar that you have in the back of the fridge that just has some of the tomato sauce left.
That's what this was. I can not even believe they serve this to people. It's apparent they want to close down. I could barely stomach looking at my hamburger.
The mushy burger that fell apart, the large goop of mayonnaise and old mushrooms slapped on the bun, the wilted and browned lettuce. My mother's chicken sandwich was not even edible.
The cold slaw on it old and Gross. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISGUSTED IN A MEAL IN MY LIFE. I will repeat this again. It was the worst meal I have ever had.
Period. I felt so nauseous after eating a bit of it. I stuck with the plain fries. I gave it a 1 star because I got to taste the Jack Daniel's sauce for the last time. I hope that the waitress leaves here soon and finds a job at a better quality restaurant.

The bartender/server was great at the beginning, I was the only one there.
Food was mediocre at best, and I wasn’t asked if it tasted all right even though I only took one bite of my Nashville chicken sandwich before asking for a box… it was not appetizing at all. Before sitting down at Fridays, I consider McDonald’s.
I would’ve preferred the chicken sandwich from McDonald’s.
