Steak house, American restaurant, Restaurant
First time at this location. It was kind of busy but we got quick seating and nice service. The drinks were not good and I had a taste for ribs but they were out.But other than that that things were okay and consistent.Presentation could be a little better but food portions were good.Would try this location at a less busier time but think I will stick to the one I normally go to.
It was mine and my husband's first time dining at Texas Roadhouse, not even just this location, but as a whole. We got here shortly at 4pm on 3/18/24. We were seated immediately and was sat in the bar area. We weren't given menus, it wasn't until a few minutes later we noticed them behind the drink menu. I ordered the 8oz sirloin shrimp combo meal and my husband ordered a 12oz strip. We also ordered buffalo wings as our appetizer. We hardly ever saw our waitress. The manager even had to refil our drinks. Our entrees arrived at our table before our appetizer. We asked for them to cancel it because we no longer needed an appetizer since we received our meals beforehand. They still gave them to us a few minutes later and we were in fact charged for them. They were cold to the touch, soggy, and gross. My husband's steak was extremely fatty and little to no flavor. I requested my steak medium, and it came out well done, with little to no flavor. As stated earlier, this was our first experience with a Texas Roadhouse, and it'll definitely be our last. The food wasn't amazing and you can get better tasting steak at Texas Longhorn or funny enough, even cracker barrel! I would reconsider visiting this place again, but honestly the service ruined this whole experience even more.
Let start from the beginning.First, I read all the previous reviews, and I decided to keep an open mind. However, I did watch everything going on much closer. So my visit started out to my surprise that at 4:49 in the afternoon the parking lot was parked. There is tons of parking here but was a little dismayed at the small amount of handicap parking (6 spots). I was able to get into a veteran spot but was disappointed at the size of the space . Most veterans are handicap and I could barely open my doors. Not because of the way others parked but at just the small space. So inside we went, and yes, it was super busy.I was told about 15 min of wait before moving up to server wait.Which took another 15, but with it this busy, it was expected and moving faster than most restaurants in the area.My wife and I were seated, and our server Katie was the best. Not just her, but as I observed the room, I saw every server doing well, and no issues appeared around us.Katie was absolutely perfect. Drinks arrived before the others emptied without a word. This continued throughout the evening. Now, for the best part ! My wife ordered the 12oz ribeye (mediumrare), baked sweet potato, and side salad.I ordered the 16oz prime rib (medium), loaded baked potato, and side salad. We also ordered the cactus blossom for an appetizer.Everything came out at the perfect time.I know another of restaurants do the onion this way, but I was delighted at this one because it was cooked perfectly throughout.About halfway through the onion came our salads. There were amazing and obviously fresh produce.Cool and crisp as a salad should be.we finished the salads with fresh bread and the onion and could not have been happier.Or so I thought. Out came our main course, and both steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection. The added touch of melted marshmallows on my wife's sweet potato was the perfect touch. Now remember, I said Katie did an amazing job well during the whole course of the meal, not once did an empty plate or disgusting stay on the table. She would swoop on and remove the offensive pieces and kept our table clean. On a side note, folks that gave this restaurant one star. You should be ashamed. This restaurant has not been here for barely month, and is still training the staff. It takes time to bring people these days to this level of satisfaction. It does nit usually happen this fast, and I was simply delighted to see how well they did.
