The food here is absolutely delicious! This is my favorite burger in the city.
Everything’s made to order.
So be warned, If it’s busy you might have to wait.
But I promise it’s well worth it!

A dipsomaniac would not uncommonly call for a double when succumbing to the force that drives this behavior.
On the other hand I think burger lovers are much less likely to order a double when fueling up on an American sandwich favorite.
I am here to tell you that this mind set is all wrong and here's why. One's natural proclivity is to order a single patty possibly with cheese or a calorie splurge with bacon.
Most often the burger comes with 1/4 lb.
of beef and arrives medium well no matter your request for less done.
The patty is usually just too thin for anything but and more often than not dry as a bone.. Hold on a minute .

I started ordering the "Working Man" at Burger Boy which is a double meat / double cheese burger.
Yes the patties are 1/4 lb.
each, but somehow having two of them plus the cheese eliminates any dry meat syndrome that usually accompanies a single 1/4 lb.
burger. Yeah, yeah.
I know there are those that say a double is just too big for me.
Well, take someone with you to eat the other half.
I'm serious.
If you want a juicy burger, this is the way to go.
Places where I have ordered both double and single, the outcome has proven my "double" hypothesis to be true. If you have made the decision to have a burger in the first place, why not do your best to ensure a pleasing outcome.
I will double down to say that the double cheese burger today at Texas Hamburger was outstanding!

Had Sons Birthday dinner party of 20 they let us use the upstairs.
It was self service but they did come up few times.
Good variety of burgers sandwiches wings.
Had beer coolers.
Was clean and friendly staff.
