Great choice amongst so many great choices in Kansas City, MO.
We thought this town was going to be just BBQ.
But the Mexican food scene here is really strong! Soooo many great sauces and dishes served here- everyone of them a home run.

First Experience With This Place! I Ordered The XL BARBACOA BRISKET BURRITO & The XL CHICKEN ACHIOTE BURRITO! Unfortunately I wasn’t pleased with either one! They were lacking so much flavor that I had to add sour cream, pico & sauce to them! The Burritos Are Great In Portion/Size As Advertised; The Temperature Was Fine! They Put “WAY TOO MANY BLACK BEANS” In The Food! I Literally Had To Dig Out All The Black Beans; Because They Took Over, I could Barely Taste The Meat, Rice & Cheese! “Very Bland & Plain” “TASTED LIKE A BEAN BURRITO BASICALLY” So Nasty; I Couldn’t Really Eat & Just Ended Up Giving The Chicken Achiote Burrito Away & Eating Around The Beans In The Barbacoa Brisket Burrito, Threw Away The Rest; Money Was Wasted By Then! “FOR $13.00 Per BURRITO; ITS NOT WORTH THAT” They Do Have “Tasty SALSA” However, If You Order The Burritos; REQUEST “NO BEANS” The Barbacoa Brisket Meat Didn’t Taste Like Barbacoa, Just Tastes Like Brisket With Cinnamon.. IM SURE THE PEOPLE ARE NICE & HARD WORKING BUT THE FOOD IS “VERY MID”THEY NEED TO WORK ON FLAVORING & SEASONING!

The overall experience at Mid was decent, but I had higher expectations.
Although the food arrived quickly and the restaurant was clean and organized, the service could have been better.
The presentation of the drink was visually appealing, but it didn't taste as good as it looked.
On the other hand, the fish taco was simply amazing, while the chicken and shrimp left a lot to be desired. Despite the disappointment with some of the dishes, I would be willing to return for the fish taco and skip the drinks altogether.
