Sun Sui Wah Seafood Restaurant

This is a newly opened Cantonese restaurant at the center of the Asian Plaza.
Due to its grand opening, it has been overwhelmingly popular.
It opens at 5 PM, and you will need to arrive exactly at the opening time to avoid the long queue.
The atmosphere and renovation of the restaurant are relatively good, ranking at the top among local Chinese restaurants.
However, the food quality is currently far from satisfactory. Many of the dishes were not available, and several had already been crossed out from the menu.
We ordered around five dishes for two people, but none amazed us.
Most of the dishes were just mediocre, and some, for example, the radish beef stew, were way below my expectations.
I wouldn't expect the radish to be only half-peeled. Overall, I think if you are curious about this restaurant, it's okay to go there and try out a dish or two.
But there's no need to waste time waiting.
The restaurant chain originated from Vancouver and was definitely not ready for its Seattle debut.
We'll need to wait for it to settle down over several months and see which direction it takes.

The restaurant has been really popular and its food is worth waiting in line or getting up early.
The Dim Sum dishes like shrimp dumplings and Chive Shrimp cake are pretty good.
I also love the belt fish(might be my favorite among all dishes here) and seafood congee/porridge.
The ginger milk curd has a strong ginger/spicy aroma with creamy texture, this is an authentic dessert from southern China.

Amazing place.
They’re one of the most authentic Chinese/Cantonese restaurants in greater Seattle area.
We particularly liked their steamed lobster w/ sticky rice in wrap.
No crazy spices, but mild flavors of scallion, ginger, and outer lotus leaf wrap brought the best fresh tasting out of seafood.
We also liked their clams that were huge.
Both texture and flavor were awesome.
Besides, place has a luxurious finish with high ceiling.
