Stir Fry Cafe West Hills

The food portions are huge! The sushi is very good but they do not offer a variety plate or accommodate smaller portions, and it's a shame because they offer so many sushi options.
On the other hand the seating is too close together.
I really enjoyed my Bento box though.

I've tried this restaurant several times and have tried to like it.
No visit has been successful.
This time I took notes: Spicy tuna rolls were not spicy and had been HEATED.
Not room temperature, but like they had been sitting under a warmer for a long time.
Also, there was no flavoring or sauces on top that would earn them the title of "spicy" or anything else. Red curry was mostly onions and the flavor was not very bold. Basil Rice had very little basil.
It was just flavored with curry powder and salt. Mongolian sauce was super sugary which I guess is fine if that is what you want. The "stir fry" sauce was the best out of any of the other dishes, as it was simply soy sauce, garlic, ginger...
Standard and not memorable, but at least decently flavorful. Dishes were not served at the same time. Iced teas were not refilled when empty.
No offers for refills were made for others with empty glasses at the table when a single person asked for a refill. We spent $80 plus tip for this experience. Never again.

I got takeout from here with a friend visiting from out of town, and we both enjoyed our meals! He got the drunken noodles, and I got their spicy noodles with hot & sour soup and a spider roll to try some of the sushi here too (I had plenty of leftover noodles, which I'm now enjoying for breakfast and will have more of for a later meal!).
😋 I hadn't tried this place before now because the name misled me to believe that they only do stir-fry.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they actual have quite a varied menu of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese food!🍱🍜🍣🍚🥢 I do wish that the spicy noodles were a lot spicier though.
I'm a girl who can handle some very spicy food, but that's hard to find.
