I had a lovely dinner at State and Lake Chicago Tavern during Chicago Restaurant Week! The casual yet trendy atmosphere is perfect for unwinding after work. 🌆
I kicked off with the spiced sweet potato bruschetta and enjoyed a refreshing Winterfell cocktail. For my entree, I tried the Braised Short Rib Bourguignon, which was beautifully presented but the seasoning could've been better. 😅
Service was attentive, and the dining vibe was cozy. I’m excited to try the Steak Frites next time! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! 🥂
