Great food with nice variety.I miss the sesame ahi tuna (bring it back!) but I ordered the salmon burger during my last visit and it was delicious.It even came with fries (which it didn’t list on the menu), which was a pleasant surprise, although I’d like if it listed it so I could have perhaps upgraded the fries.The bread pudding (pictured) is unbeatable. Service here has been pretty good over the times we’ve been, although it can be hard to hear the servers because the noise control isn’t great.Would love if they implemented some noise dampening measures like cork panels or something along those lines.It can get very loud. The bathroom are private and gender-neutral.I appreciate that they’re private but the paint on the door is starting to become see-through (see photo).Overall the bathrooms could use updating and a thorough cleaning. We love Somo and will continue to visit, but would appreciate some minor updates.
Went here for brunch with friends.It was a great vibe, staff were friendly, and the food was amazing.Can’t really ask for more! I’ll be back! I LOVED the tofu scramble.I lowkey forgot it was a vegan dish it was that good.I also got a single pancake.Huge and yummy.A great combo of just sweet enough and also super fluffy!
Food is always amazing and their drink menu never disappoints! Don’t sleep on the shrimp and grits! One of the best I’ve ever had and their Papperdale Mushroom dish keeps me coming back! Portions are impressive and I’ve never had anything there I didn’t think about later! Little loud in there between how busy it gets and the music but not too too bad! Brunch and lunch are their busiest times - for good reason! Service is always fantastic! The people there really care about their customers. One of my faves in Manayunk!
