Smashburger

I ordered the new 'special' Mango Habanero Chicken Sandwich since it was the featured item and looked good in the picture.
However, my pictures shall prove otherwise.
The ill-spent $8 for this sandwich does not add up to the quality I received.
I could have gone to [competitor] down the street and received a bigger and juicier sandwich for $5.99 than this lump of the most depressing and demoralizing attempt at food I have ever seen.
(And that is coming from someone who has worked in food before.) I wish I could get my money back for this sandwich.

Haven't had such a bad experience in a long time.
We had to order twice, for some reason our initial order was placed with a group.
When our food was ready 30+ minutes after ordering the staff offered it to other tables, who all refused but they ignored our raised hands and number which was on the order.
Fifteen minutes after that they finally brought our sides, another few minutes and my burger came then 10 minutes after that they finally brought my brothers food.
The wait we could have handled, but they brought the same food 15 to 25 minutes after they offered it to the other tables.
So the food was cold, the brussel sprouts and small fries might have been good when fresh but were extremely greasy by the time we got them.
People who arrived there 20+ minutes after us had their food and ate before we were served.
The manager said sorry for the wait, we are beyond unimpressed.

Just heard the manager who’s in the kitchen instruct her cashier/runner to take out the food for the customers eating in first.
They ordered well after me.
My food is sitting on the counter and the party is fairly large.
The shake is very frost bitten and quite milky.
I literally got a milk shake hardly any freakkng ice cream in this thing but loads of chunks of ice, yum. I’m very aggitated that my food has to wait while this man walks over 6 freaking meals one by one, when I could have been handed my food and been gone. Ordered at 5:05 and got my food at a whopping 25 minutes later.
Even though I could have had it less than 15 minutes as I watched the food go up.
I watched it sit there.
I will definitely be driving further into the city if need be next time. No shade on the cashier he was a doll and did his job as he was told.
She’s a bad cook and manager to literally think it was a good idea to not just hand the ONE Togo order first and and serve a table to 6 second hand.
Especially when half the group ordered well after I placed my order. Back 16 minutes now that I’m home.
Mind you I started eating when I hit the freeway so no it wasn’t sitting for 16 minutes.
There is one piece of lettuce, three soggy gross tomatoes and cold bacon.
I don’t eat pork but at times I have craving and give into this sin.
Well thank you for ruining that for me.
Yes the bacon is cold and stringy like it was not cooked fully.
I know most restaurants food comes par baked and idk how their pork comes in but this ain’t cooked my guy. I’m a cook and never try to think a fast food joint should be on par with the kitchens i work in but I also expect fresh and cooked food at the least.
😂 I’ll be back to get a refund after the holidays as y’all would have been closed by time I turned around and came back.
Ugh!!!! $20 wasted.
Gas wasted.
My friends time wasted.
