Stood in line for 30 minutes, but the food was great! Sat on the rooftop deck with stellar views of downtown KCMO across the river! While you’re here, walk across the street and grab some beer at the Strawberry Hill Brewing Company! 🍺👍🏼

Was it worth the wait, absolutely yes.
Speaking with locals, Slapps considered top 4 BBQ joint including Joe's, Jack Stacks and Q39.
Spicy BBQ sauce perfect for each meat; sweet sauce good to but heavy on brown sugar.
Favorite was burnt ends and pulled pork, honestly all was tasty and super tender.
Cheesy corn was like mac+cheese.
I like the adds of white bread, pickles and jalapenos too.
Might have to come again before leaving KC.

So good! Line is long but moves fast.
We had burnt ends, brisket, beans, & jalapeño sausage.
They served beer in the line as you wait.
Cool local vibe.
