SimLo's Island Cafe

This is my first time coming here to SimLo's in Fayetteville, NC.
Very nice and clean atmosphere.
Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
I order a medium Oxtail entrée that came with 2 sides, rice& peas, and potato salad, and I also ordered a side of Mac n Cheese.
The plate was plated neat and not messy like some places do.
I really enjoyed my meal.
I am not really a Mac n Cheese or Potatoe Salad type of person, but I wanted to try something different and it was not bad at all, but I will say I will stick with ordering in the future the rice& peas and cabbage meal.😋 The wait time was not bad with it being a little busy on a Friday late afternoon, I ordered my meal to go.

The customer service here is absolutely amazing! They're very patient and courteous! There's so many delicious options to choose from! From the food to the Jamaican drinks...perfection! It's amongst the best food I've ever had! Although not pictured, the beef patties are yummy as well!

Y'all! I think this is some of the best take out I've ever had in my life! I went all in.
I ordered oxtail, curry chicken, garlic shrimp, extra plantains, Mac and cheese and a carrot cake.
Sides: rice and beans, cabbage, potato salad, plantains.
I haven't gotten to dessert but I'm on my 3rd helping of food and this tastes AMAZING! I didn't even look to see that I was ordering Jamaican.
I knew it was island food but damn! I'm so pleasantly surprised with this flavor! And I used to manage restaurants from NY to Vegas so my palate is pretty discerning. Great food! Compliments to the chef! I'll DEFINITELY be back.
