For starters, Silver Saddle Steakhouse has their operation dialed in and water tight. The service was excellent, the timing was impeccable, however, the food left much to be desired. For a budget friendly steakhouse, Silver Saddle is a solid contender. While my steak came out perfectly medium rare, I found myself having to salt my steak with table salt because the kitchen didn’t season it AT ALL.I mean, what?! Everyone knows you’re supposed to season steaks “liberally” on both sides before cooking, right? Right?? This one small yet crucial oversight is what kept me from giving them 5 stars. Salad bar was solid, and clearly the right move, although I don’t care for the fake bacon bits.It screams “cheap” to me. All told, Silver Saddle is a decent little steakhouse.Like I said, operationally they got that $h!t dialed in! But if you’re a fan of really good steaks, you might want to venture elsewhere.
Casual dining atmosphere. They're grilling with mesquite so if you can't take smoke take a puff on your inhaler before going in. Restaurant was busy, so service was a little slow. Also, they are very casual so don't expect the Ritz. They are very friendly tho. Salad bar is pretty typical. The French Onion soup is good, not quite as rich as I would expect. The bone-in ribeye, special for the night, was delicious (even if I needed a little extra salt on it). Cowboy beans are exactly that and good as was the baked potato. I'd go back for that steak today if I lived there.
Kristy was a very pleasant waitress and really set a positive tone for our first experience here.We were seated quickly (party of 2), service was fast, and food was delicious. The steaks were so juicy, and they have complimentary rolls and butter. They also have a bar in the back, although the drinks are not listed on the menu (I recommend the prickly pear margarita if you like sweet, mixed drinks). They have a small salad bar that complements the steaks well.It is my first time here, so unknown if the parking attendant is always here or only on certain days, but she helped me quickly find a spot to park. This place was very busy (23 Dec) but the staff were so accommodating and friendly.I highly recommend this establishment.
