Chinese restaurant, Dan Dan noodle restaurant, Sichuan restaurant
Currently, the best Sichuan encountered in San Francisco — perfectly spicy, numbing just enough. An elegant balance in mala resulting in a near bottomless appetite that can last hours. Tan Tan Noodles, gets the mala to sesame proportion just right.Spicy Beef Tendon, an excellent cold appetizer for those adventurous in texture.Cumin Lamb, comforting, savory and flavorful. The private dining room in the back — a treat.Portrait view of green garden stone landscape, impressive.
Came on a rainy night so it was slow. Service was good and the ladies were friendly. BF likes this place a lot but first time I’ve been here . We had the spicy green beans which is vegetarian and the spicy tofu. The green beans were tasty but the tofu was very salty.I couldn’t eat anymore after the first few pieces. I don’t eat a lot of salt but BF agreed it was very salty! I agreed to give it another try since the reviews are good and he likes it. Could just be this dish.
Excellent Sichuan cuisine – delicious, clean, and hygienic. The service is great, the ambiance is quiet, and the dishes are exceptionally tasty. The speed of serving the dishes is also impressive.Highly recommended!
