Shanghai Cafe has the kindest staff.
They are friendly and willing to take the time to explain their dishes to you.
Our party ordered the Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken combination plate (with ham fried rice and a Vietnamese egg roll), egg drop soup, along with cream cheese wontons and the tempura vegetable platter.
Our food was served to us quickly and every item was hot and delicious.
The portions are large.
Plan on taking a lot of food home, which makes this restaurant very well worth the money! Our waiter was quick to take away dishes that were no longer needed and to refill our water.
He was attentive and made us feel appreciated.
I’ve been coming here for years and it seems that the food just keeps getting better.
Shanghai Cafe is one of my favorite places to go to in the city.
I highly recommend.

Wasn't expecting a lot at first, it looks like a simple place from the outside but is actually beautifully decorated on the inside.
There is a mix of Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese food here, which surprised me; the options are endless! We ordered the Vietnamese curry and Hong Kong Style Beef which came with broccoli and rice, both were delicious!! Service was very friendly and refilled our waters without us asking.
Would recommend to anyone who wants some relatively decent-priced food in Salt Lake!!

Surprisingly amazing.
A mix of Thai , Chinese and Vietnamese choices (maybe more?).
Delicious, large portions, great service.
