Restaurant, Bar
This is one of the few dining venues near the Palace of Fine Arts and it’s a very good one. The farm to table vegetables accompanying my salmon were outstanding. The salmon was also great. The location right on the edge of the Presidio has lovely grounds and the building interior has a modern minimalist aesthetic. On the Saturday evening we went it wasn’t too crowded and service was prompt. So if you’re going to a performance at PoFA and only want to park once this is a great dining option before your show.
This was the second time I went to this place and I can affirm food is consistently good; this was one of the best burgers I have ever had.Quality meat, soft caramelized onions and a great pepper mayonnaise. Drinks are amazing, specially the beer with orange. They should have a digital menu (QR) and it wold be nice if they implement a web page paying system. They don’t accept Apple pay using your cellphone so you need your give them your card number and expiration. They should accept it and have terminals, but this is a minor problem that is super easy to solve. Recommended overall.
On a sunny day with fair weather request an outside seat.First time here and the food was good.serving size was perfect portioned and for San Francisco presidio the price was expected. Bacon Cheeseburger: bourbon carmelized onions with tomato and arugula.Cooked well done , the burger was juicy and the cheese was like one I have never had on a burger before. French Fries: Thick Cut and lightly salted I wouldn’t say go out of your way but I wouldn’t say take your time.
