Stopped in as it's close to the airport.
Service was great.
The building is small, not a lot of room, while I was looking for a table to sit everywhere I stopped I was in the way of somebody.
Good portions, but didn't wow me.
The brisket was sliced thick, but it was dry.
The sausage was decent but not a whole heck of a lot of flavor.
The cheesy mashed potatoes I would not recommend they were just tasteless.
The jalapeno coleslaw was good.
I only got to try the spicy version of their sauce because they didn't bring me the regular version.
However they did bring two small bottles of other spicy sauce which I didn't care for either I like spicy it just didn't taste good.
Overall a decent amount of food for sure, would I return, probably not, there's other places in Kansas City that I love and I thought I would just try this out.
They only have four different sides to choose from.
I saw a lot of airport people there as I went at 12:30 or so, seemed busy, after that it cleared out and it was empty.
Probably just looking to get airport people and travelers to stop in.

Fantastic barbecue! Easy to get to.
Fast, friendly service. If you are picking friends up from the airport that want some great KC BBQ this is the place! If you aren't, it is definitely worth the drive.
This isn't a chain, it's Scott (with a great crew).
He is a competition BBQ enthusiast gone pro! We had Burnt End Tacos that were huge, two would have been plenty but I couldn't resist finishing the third.
My son had a Buffalo Chicken Burrito, also tasty and filling.
They were busy with lunch but the service was super fast and friendly.
If you like great BBQ, this is the place! They also had some pastrami that we picked up to go for supper, fantastic as well, maybe some red pepper in there, nice twist on pastrami.

Found this spot on a work trip.
Needed to take a client out for lunch.
I had never heard of it before but I was glad I stopped by.
I ordered one of the following; pulled pork taco, burnt ends taco, smoked pepperjack and ghost pepper sausage taco, and brisket chili.
Everything was great! The ghost pepper sausage was awesome, but had some real heat to it.
Not over powering and still had great flavor.
The brisket chili was good, but didn't blow my hair back.
They had smoked turkey gumbo that looked very good as well, but I only had so much room before I'd need to buy new pants. The staff was vey friendly, the food was served quickly, the restaurant was clean and it had ample outdoor seating.
Overall I would absolutely go back when I am in town next and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good high quality bbq.
