We stopped into Shilo’s for a lunch and was splendid.
The service was stellar.
The food was excellent, particularly the root beer, rye bread, kielbasa, pretzels and Reuben fritters.
The restaurant is very nostalgic neatly decorated with history.
I would love to try their breakfast menu.
I would definitely come here again.
Highly recommended!

We went to Schilo's because my kiddos wanted to try the pretzel, but we got there a little before they started serving lunch and the breakfast looked so tasty, we had breakfast instead.
We were not disappointed.
Everything was delicious, but my kids raved about the root beer! The pancakes were my favorite.
The service was great and they do offer a military discount.
We came back the next morning.

Food was delicious, staff was super friendly and I was able to park right in front of the restaurant at 9:00am on a Saturday.
I’m 99% sure that because it seems that most of the clientele are tourists and I was one of the few locals.
Whatever, as long as I can park easily I don’t care how it happens.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place, I will say however that when I left (around 9:40am) there was a line, so get there early.
